Since 1994, this Geneva gay group offers a informal meeting space for gays. Officially registered, it totals more than 500 members from over 100 countries and all continents, mainly from the UN and its agencies, covering a wide range of professional interests.

Unique in gay Switzerland, the GIG is the only one of the lgbt organisations or gay groups in the gay community of Geneva to be solely dedicated to expatriate gays or gay foreigners/tourists : activities of this Geneva gay group are: dinners and potluck buffets (“bring your own food and drink”) organized twice a month and notified through e-mail (plus occasional sportive activities, cultural events or tourism in the neighborood or outside Switzerland). Activities are open to everybody.

Международная гей-группа (Gay International Group – GIG), основанная в 1994 году, предлагает место для встреч гомосексуалов, проживающих или посещающих Женеву и близлежащий регион. В группе состоят 500 человек из более чем 100 стран мира, представляющих все континенты, главным образом из ООН и различных ее подразделений, затрагивающих широчайший круг профессиональных интересов.

Среди мероприятий группы регулярные пикники («принеси свою еду и напитки») или обеды, которые организуются два раза в месяц. Уведомления о каждом мероприятии рассылаются по электронной почте.

Время от времени группа организовывает культурные события или дружеские встречи. Все мероприятия являются открытыми для заинтересованных лиц.

Créé en 1994, le Gay International Group (GIG) a pour but d’offrir aux gays étrangers visitant ou habitant Genève un espace de rencontre ouvert aux internationaux basés à Genève et à la population locale. Officiellement enregistré, le groupe compte plus de 500 membres originaires de plus de 100 pays de tous les continents, travaillant dans les agences de l’ONU ou ailleurs.

Activités : des buffets canadiens ou des dîners sont organisés deux fois par mois sur invitation par courrier électronique. Des activités culturelles ou conviviales sont également programmées de manière ponctuelle. Ces activités sont ouvertes à tous et à toutes.

Creado en 1994, el Grupo Internacional Gay (GIG) – oficialmente registrado – tiene por objetivo principal ofrecer un espacio de encuentro abierto tanto a los internacionales basados en Ginebra como a la población local. La mayoría de los más de 500 miembros originarios de más de 100 países proceden de las organizaciones internacionales (ONU y agencias).

Actividades: aparadores canadienses o cenas dos veces al mes. Se organizan también algunas actividades culturales (thé, cine, ópera, viajes, etc.) Estos eventos están abiertos a todos y a todas. Inscripción: enviar un correo electrónico a gig@360.ch

日内瓦同志组织(Geneva gay group)，自1994年起，向日内瓦同性恋人群提供非正式的聚会场所。它正式注册，涵盖了来由各大洲一百多国家的五百多名会员，其中大多数在联合国及其机构工作，来自不同的行业。

该组织在瑞士的同志社区内独一无二，是日内瓦的同志社团中唯一面向旅瑞国际人士或游客的。其活动包括，聚餐和自助餐(分享自备的饮食)，约一月两次，电邮通知。此外也组织其他不定期的文体活动以及瑞士境内外的旅行。该组织向各届人士开放。
